Corporate Projects: FAQs

FABX Studio creates custom scarves, textile gifts and artwork-led pieces for brands and organisations. We consider the artwork, material, finishing and presentation together, with a project scope suited to what you need.

What does FABX bring to our project?

We bring textile knowledge and production experience to the decisions that shape the finished piece — from how artwork translates onto fabric to how the product is constructed and presented.

For managed projects, we coordinate the agreed sampling, approvals and production. The services included, and their fees, are confirmed before that work begins.

Can we choose an existing product or create something bespoke?

Both are available for assessment.

Established products use existing FABX formats with their available sizes, fabrics and finishing options. Bespoke development involves a new format or specifications beyond those options.

An established product provides a more defined starting point. Bespoke work requires additional development and sampling, with a longer schedule.

Do we need to provide finished artwork?

For production using your own design, your team or designer should provide final, approved artwork in the appropriate FABX template.

If you have an idea, logo or campaign visual that needs further development, indicate this when enquiring. Artwork support is assessed and quoted separately.

If an NDA is required, raise this before sharing confidential materials.

Can you help us choose materials and presentation?

Yes, within the agreed project scope. We consider the intended use, artwork, quantity, budget and schedule when reviewing suitable options.

Fabric swatches help you assess the material; test prints help you review printed colour and detail. Standard packaging and FABX Gift Presentation are available for selected formats. Custom presentation requires separate assessment.

Can we see a finished sample before ordering in bulk?

Yes. Corporate samples are arranged and charged separately.

New or changed product configurations require physical sample approval before bulk production. Tell us if your team or end client also needs its own approval sample so this can be included in the schedule.

A test print or digital proof cannot replace approval of the finished product’s construction. Follow the sampling quotation issued for your project rather than purchasing a standard website product to initiate Corporate sampling.

How much lead time should we allow?

Standard Corporate bulk production typically takes 14–16 working days after the required payment, final artwork and approvals are complete and FABX confirms production can begin. Allow approximately 18 working days to in-hand from that point, subject to delivery arrangements.

Artwork preparation, testing, sampling and client review require additional time.

For bespoke development, allow at least 4–6 weeks, or 6–8 weeks or more for involved briefs. Your project’s schedule is assessed individually. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Is Rush production available?

Rush may be available for eligible established-product projects of up to 100 pieces, subject to capacity and written confirmation.

Rush bulk production takes 10 working days after all required payment, artwork and approvals are complete and FABX confirms production can begin. Sampling and client review are additional stages.

Rush is unavailable for bespoke development. A deadline is accepted only when FABX confirms it.

How do payment and purchase orders work?

Advance payment is the standard arrangement. Your quotation or invoice states the amount due for the relevant project stage.

Tell us about PO, vendor-registration or credit-term requirements before the quotation is finalised. Alternative payment arrangements require FABX’s written approval; a PO alone does not replace payment or confirm a production slot.

We assess delivery feasibility during quotation and confirm the production schedule once the required preparations and approvals are complete.

Can we repeat, change or add to an order?

Yes, subject to review. For a repeat project, reference the previous order and confirm what remains the same and what has changed. Current pricing, material availability and capacity apply.

Changes may require a revised quotation, further sampling or a new schedule. Send one consolidated update so the complete request can be assessed.

Additional pieces requested during production are assessed separately. Pieces requested after completion are a new order, including those needed for personal use or retained references. Include planned batch deliveries and all required quantities in the original brief wherever possible.

What if we need to cancel, or there is a problem with the goods?

Request cancellations or reductions promptly. Custom goods already in production cannot ordinarily be cancelled for a change of mind. Any available adjustment depends on the project stage and work already committed.

For a delivery or product concern, contact us through your project correspondence with the order reference, affected quantity and clear photographs. Keep the goods and relevant packaging available for assessment.

We review concerns against the agreed specifications and approved references, then confirm the appropriate next steps. Cancellation, return and resolution terms are provided with your project documents before commitment.

Can a business purchase directly through the website?

Yes. Businesses can order listed products using the available options and standard website process.

Website checkout does not include managed Corporate sampling, project coordination, priority production or end-client approval management. If your project requires these services, use the Corporate enquiry process before purchasing.

How do we begin?

Request the Corporate Catalogue to explore product formats, materials, guide pricing and presentation.

When your direction is sufficiently defined, submit the Formal Quote form. Include your product requirements, quantity, artwork status, presentation needs, approval requirements and latest in-hand date. Share your budget where relevant, particularly for bespoke development.

FABX will review the brief and confirm the appropriate scope, quotation and next steps.
